The location was really good. Starbucks right across the drive made mornings effortless. i found a unique piece of jewelry at the little gift shop, a lovely reminder of my stay, though the restaurant didn't quite meet expectations.
the pool and gym are now accessible to the public. it felt a bit less exclusive than i'd hoped!

The room itself seemed a bit tired. The furniture had visible wear, and I saw some stains. I tried to adjust the alarm clock, but the instructions did not work. This was frustrating. the front desk staff did not seem particularly interested in my feedback at checkout. They asked how my stay was, but did not seem to care about my answer.
